I'm posting this on behalf of family that have just had two bikes stolen in Alpe D'Huez (last night about midnight). The bikes were stored in the back room of a hotel and the scum bags broke through three doors to get at them, so we are pretty sure the theft was targeted as they went through a room full of ski equipment to get to the bikes. We've also heard that there were a number of other bike thefts in the area so guessing they did a bit of a sweep of the resort.
The stolen bikes were a Cannondale prophet 2, 2009 with race face handle bars, troy lee grips and a hope pro 2 hub and a commencal meta 5 pro 2010 in bright orange. The police are involved so any extra info or sightings would be a huge help. Email f_castickathotmaildotcom
