Seems herself is working this weekend and it's warmed up a bit but I seem to be completely lacking inspiration when I look at the map. Any ideas? Cross bike or MTB, doesn't need to be exciting or epic.

Peep the Northumberland coastal path - I looked into hiking it last summer - definitely not that epic but I thought it had potential - there's castles and everything! Its a pretty quiet neck of the woods so I thought it looked decent for wild camping.

Out along the John Muir Way in East Lothian you will find lots of quiet wee spots for pitching a tent/bivvy.
