Hi fellas

My boss at work is struggling to find anything that fit's him & asked me for advice as a fellow cyclist - he's not exactly a blubber more built like an upside-down triangle (anyone remember ram man from He-man?!). He's tried largest size in altura & polaris but to no avail

Any ideas?

ta

Martin

Gore seems to run quite large as doesn Pearl Izumi

Avoid the southern european brands as they are made for midgets.

A few people have recommended made-to-measure stuff from Cioch, but this is mid and outer layer stuff not shorts and jerseys.

Cheers guys - he's fine with shorts. It's the jerseys which are a struggle

I've always found gore to be pretty good / honest size wise (ie. size large fits me great whch is what size t shirts I buy)

What waist & chest size is he?

I'm 42" waist and 52" chest and tend to go for Mace baggies as XXL fit, DHB lycra stuff from Wiggle and either Endura, Thor or similar tops. As a tip i always tend to go for tops that are designed to have body armour under them as they will be that bit looser ๐Ÿ™„

Nike stuff comes up quite well. Twin Six do XXXL which will be my next purchase. I often get non-cycling stuff as well - Helly Hansen, Under Armor and a couple of others do nice wicking stuff that works.

Im normally XL but Race Face XL dwarfs me. Sweeping generalisation- North American designed gear will be bigger as they are all dirty great fat fvckers.
