I need to find a solution for keeping my bikes upright. At the moment they're leaning up against things in my workshop. So, if I need to get at the lathe I need to move bike, get to the drill press, move a bike & so on. Hanging them from the roof's not an option.

So let me see pictures of your storage ideas please 8)

Sounds like you have the tools to make your own version 🙂

I had one like that £6 one and it was crap. IIRC 2.1" tyre barely fitted.

I've got a couple of the Pro ones - work very well, and I'm sure with a bit of googling could be found cheaper.

Thanks for the replies 😀 That's one damn fine mancave Coastie 8) Wherever I put the bikes they seem to get in the way. I might have to bring them into the house ! Mrs Davesport's going to be awful cross 😆

Mine hang from a piece of 2" pipe by the saddle nose, leaves room underneath for other stuff too

I just swapped 2 bikes that was hanging like coatskid & clunkers to the Aldi stand, I now have various methods employed in my cave, hooks, hoists & the Aldi, the Aldi stand takes up a lot less inward space into the cave, but it does suck up a bigger wall space to acheive that.

All good methods but it depends on your space.

That where i keep the good ones... 🙂

Luckily my folks who live nearby are now too elderly to go up into their loft, made a great long term storage area for old stuff 😉

Halfords do a large rubber coated hook for hanging bikes, for £3.
Bikes hang just like in Clunkers pic. I've got half a dozen in my garage, saves loads of space, especially if they go nose to tail, so to speak.
