So here is the usual question I'm looking at a great cheep giant trance x but it's a large size and I'm 5'8" . Is anyone out there riding this bike my Hight and is it ok?
You see many short people riding bikes far too big for them, be a dear and don't become one of them 😉
(assuming you're not a clown) would you buy size 13 shoes if they were cheap?
You're at the shorter end of the medium frame size wise. I suspect the large will be too long.
Try and get a ride on one.
I'm 6' on a Large and sometimes wish I had a Medium..
At 5'8" I'd say you're probably in between the sizes of small & medium. I'm 5'9" and rode a small (16") XTC.
Large will definitely be too big. Don't be swayed on it being cheap because if you buy it and it's wrong it will end up costing you more.
Try and find on to try before making a decision.

Giants tend to size up big too. I'm 6' and rode a L VT for a while. It was enormous.
i'm 5'9/10 and my bike is 16.5", I'd always err on the smaller side.
