Hi,
I've just moved to Glasgow (Previously on ...). My Landlord has given me access to a locked caretaker's room in the block's entrance hall; also locked.
What I want to do is add a few brackets to the wall so that I can chain my bike to it.
The wall is made of breeze(sp?)/cinder block. Don't want to spend more than £40 if poss, but bike's security is important so will consider other stuff too...
Whilst I'm on the subject; chain tips needed too.

I bought a 'Master' chain and bracket from Homebase a while back. it comes with 12mm thick expansion bolts. the chains a good size and very sturdy. i think it was about £30.
i suppose its like any security, it wont be infallable but it would take some effort to get through it. worth a look.
Thanks for the reply. Not sure if I'll be able to start drilling big holes in the walls so I might make do with some hefty chains around a pipe.
