Bikes not covered on house insurance anymore so have been looking into stand alone policys. Anyone have any recommendations?
Go with the AA Home insurance.
Can't go with AA, need specific policy to cover childminding and can only get cover of £1000 per bike.
I'm with ETA cycle insurance. Not had to use them yet. Competitively priced and also offer little things like paying for a taxi home if you'break down' and accidental damage cover.
Ahem, [shameless plug], I run an Insurance brokers and can insure home policies for childminders and with bikes [/shameless plug].
pm me if you want me to give you a ring.
sandwicheater, sent you e-mail.
John Lewis?
Just swapped our insurance to them and can specify bikes up to 5k. Which in the grand scheme of things only put an extra 7 quid a month on top of the premium for a 4 grand bike.
