Based on a Path Racer model made by the Company in the 1930s, the GUVNOR has a Classic style, but is equipped with modern components. It features a Pashley built Reynolds 531 diamond frame (in 20.5, 22.5 and 24.5* inch sizes), with relaxed style forks, Brooks B17 Titanium saddle, drop North Road handlebars - with leather grips, a single speed rear wheel, with 28 inch gold lined black alloy rims and light tyres being used front and back. The Guv'nor is also available as a 3 speed model

If you found one in a skip you might pick it out and take it home.

From the reviews I've read its very heavy and not very nice to ride.

I would suggest that you'd take it back the next day and return it to the skip 😆

i'd love to find one in a skip, it'd save me £800!
you could only ride it wearing tweed and a big moustache though

They do look nice, but they are quite beefy. I have a Peregrine with a similar build which my partner rides for towpath cruising.

waiting for my Pashley Roadster Sovereign to turn up... should be here in 2 weeks. can't wait for some gentle riding to return to my life... no need to change shoes to ride it... not even a need to wear a helmet... just pop on and ride......

MrT you don't need to spend £800 to make those changes.

Have also ordered several hundred pounds worth of howies lifestyle clothing?

I'm with RocketDog on this one. But it'd probably be rubbish to ride with loads of crap bits. What I'd like is to get the bits - handlebars, tyres etc. and make my Litespeed up in a similar stylee. Not sure if it would work but maybe worth a try.

They do look good. I was on the verge of getting a pashley tube rider the other week but thankfully managed to talk myself out of it.
