Been looking at going away on a combined bike and family holiday next year, there are two familys going and we want somewhere that A has good riding close and B is great for the kids and wifes (one child 6 and one child will be two so nothing super exciting required)
Style of riding is dare i say it.....enduro (we both race enduro so i suppose that fits) and like a bit of technical steep stuff and dont mind putting in some efforet to get there.
I have been to france/italy a few times now so wouldnt mind heading somewhere else in europe this time to sample so other riding.
All advice would be sweet

Chatel? Nice quiet wee village, free bus up to lifts, nice cafés, local brewery nearby. Super Chatel lift for out the door hiking & biking. Nice mountain top cafés for little ones if allowed on lifts? 💡
