My sister wants a bike for on and off road, but only flat(ish) gental stuff 😉

looking at £300 tops

i was thinking of a Carrera Subway @ £200

Buy a used bike, far better value for money at that price.

hi ive got a specialazed hardrock sport if your intrested got it for my wife a couple of years ago only been uesd a couple of times so like new cost £500 at the time looking for £180 ono i can email you some pics if your intrested

curvature has a point but if don't know on size and not got stacks of time how about Edinburgh Bike Coop range? in that sort of price range good value

Hardrock from eBay (or above poster) would be hard to beat. Lots if bikes at that level have simply never been ridden.

I brought my wife a lovely 2nd hand Giant Yukon, paid £180, brought a donor bike with fox forks deore cranks etc, transplanted all over and sold said donor bike for same price I paid, its like new cost no more than £200, beautiful bike....if mine was out if use would ride myself, rides ace.

Rob, i have a 17'' specialized hardrock pro to sell.
it has been ridden for 6 miles from new. it is a 2008/9 model.
it is in showroom condition.
£250 and i am in rothwell.
