Bike carrier like a Maxxraxx

Afternoon

I'm looking for a carrier to take my bike when I go away in my caravan. It's too heavy to get on top of the car, plus the cars too high.

I've come across an older carrier called a Maxxraxx, which attaches to the towbar but not over the tow all.

Does anyone know if any other companies make anything similar. Pendle does something similar ISH but it's for a tow all flange, I'll need one for a swan neck bar.

There's a couple on eBay but all miles away from me.

I used to have a Witter towbar rack that did the same thing. It attached to a plate behind the tow ball

Be careful though as you could go over your vehicle nose weight with caravan + rack + bike

Buzzrack Buffalo. I got one for about £100 from FB marketplace. I loved it but both of my current bikes have odd shaped frames and didn't fit so I had to replace it.

The Witter is flange mount, I need swan neck. It looks like the buzzrack goes over the tow all.

I have a spare Maxxraxx - where are you based?

It's great, but doesn't fit my current car

Can't you just put the bike in the caravan?

Tied down to something so it doesn't fly about obviously, I've never owned a caravan so you'll have to explain if it's a daft idea.

Aye, bit far away, shame that.

As for keeping it in the caravan, it's a new van, if the bike slipped and bashed something or got oil on something I'd cry for months. Plus the caravan isn't at home, so I have to transport the bike there anyway.

I'll just keep an eye on eBay and Facebook.
