Anyone fitted one of the 'newer' larger offset (46-47mm) rigid forks on an older GF rig? My Rebas are wearing out & I fancy trying the rigid fork option, but are the newer bigger offset forks going to mess up the handling bearing in mind the Rigs H/tube angle is slacker than the 'new' generation of 29ers ?

its worth bearing in mind that old rigs are well known for cracking around the headtube / downtube gusset area.
