Turns out the thief sold it to some kid who took it home and his parents were suspicious and called the cops who said yes thats stolen.
They then got the thief from the kids description.
Largely there but they had tried to fix the rear flat tire and havnt put the wheel back in right. They have swapped out the saddle and post for a suspension seat post and a womans gel saddle , removed one of my bottle cages / bent the other. And hacksawed the palm rests off my ergons/removed the bar ends/clamps and glued the grips to the bars ....

unfortunantly the police couldnt tell me anything else due to confidentiallity and the possibility of me being a **** and petrol bombing their house !
