Mrs andyr has finally been convinced to get some bib shorts. She's 6 foot tall though and looking around manufacturers don't really quote height suitability just dress size. She tried a couple of endura/gore ones on in the local Evans cycles and they just cut into her shoulders even when in a cycling pose.

Can any tall ladies on STW recommend a decent pair for her to try?

Cheers!

How about a pair of unpadded men's tights, plus a padded liner?

Bumpity for the morning crew.

There must be some other tall women who ride bikes out there....

Cheers for the reply Esme, it'd just be nice to get her something that is shaped to her body. But that's the last resort.

I'm a few inches shorter so what works for me may not work for her, but pearl izumi stuff is always comfortable on me and seems to have longer arms/legs than some.

i avoid men's if at all possible - I always find that the hips are far too narrow to be comfortable.

Have you looked at Rose Bikes website?ย  Huge range of manufacturers together with a huge range of sizes.ย  Perhaps also check out Amazon in Europe?

The Polaris ones that my daughter uses are long in the body and a good fit. They were very cheap in their sale and good quality

My partner's an inch or so shorter, but gets on ok with a pair of decathlon bibs.

Try Cyclista; http://www.cyclistaclothing.co.uk/

My wife is 5'11" and found their booth at the bike show a couple of years ago and whooped with delight at the fit!

A couple of the models on the site displaying the clothes are 5'11" and 6' so you can see how good the fit is.

Other than that, she has used 'Italian race'ย style in the past in size XL or XXL as they have the length but still tend to be skinny fit.

Thanks everyone. Think we'll give those Cyclista ones a go.
