As title - been using the Zipvit ones which I get on with well - time to get some new ones though - anything better I should look at - don't mind spending for the right ones but at £40 for the Zipvit they'd have to be good

I really rate the more spendy dhb ones from Wiggle (Aeron Pro etc) if you can pick them up on offer they’re good value IMO

The zipvit ones have a really nice pad, not sure you can beat them for price.  Bit lairy-looking for me so I wear mine on the commute with a pair of shorts over the top

The only other bibs I like as much as my Zipvits were over double the money

If the Zipfits work for you, buy more. Other people's recommendations don't really apply, as we're all unique in the configuration of our pelvis, perineum, knackers and knob.

Lunge's default response, Decathlon 700/900. In truth, they're as good as Zipzit but I'd not say they're better. They are however not covered in Zipzit logos which is why I tend to buy them.

I've just bought another couple of pairs of Zipvit for when my current ones wear out.  Searching for the fabrics and pad they use anything comparable is at least twice the price.

When I want something less lairy for road riding i"m going to try some Galibier.

Just googled Zipvit as I had never heard of them. Took me to their website via this link

https://www.zipvitsport.co.uk/zv-sport-bib-shorts.html

and was amazed to see them offering me a "packet size" of XXL. I thought, how they hell do they know that already 🙂

Looks to be another pair of Zipvit - agree about the logo's but as I always wear baggies over the top it's not an issue - cheers for the replies:)

Pretty much what I was saying to someone in a recent conversation about bib shorts, but I was far from as eloquent

Look at the Polaris website . I picked up a pair of bibs for £20 that seem to be well  made  and have a reasonable pad. I am thinking 3 -4 hr rides would be fine , although tbh I have not had the opportunity to  try them out properly yet

Tried lots of shorts at different  price points and I can honestly say that none are comfier  than zipvits and a lot are much worse. You still have to accept that they are covered in zipvit logos.
