The nearest station is Gwersyllt, which is 6 miles away.

You have to change at Chester, then Wrexham to get there, and it takes around 3 hours.

Train to chester from Manchester, change for the shrewsbury train, at chester, for wrexham general.

TR out of station past college and football ground,

TL at roundabout in front of B and Q, start climbing,(B5101, Brymbo)

one hill,
another slight hill,(caego)
another hill,(Southsea)

TL after concrete over bridge, and steep climb,(to Coedporth)

continue on road,and climb again,

TR at t junction, opposite Jordans van sales, then TL, opposite bakery, and another climb,

After passing old church on RHS, TL, down narrow lane, the sign says llandegla straight on, ignore this as the locals dont like cars going down the natrrow lane, and reach LLandegla.

its a long climb, but a great downhill, and reasonably quiet roads.
