As above. I'm in need of some new tubeless tyres, and was wondering what over peeps are using?

Cheers Fletch.

Happy with a Nobby Nic up front and a Racing Ralph out back, but then I'm no tyre expert, and have little to compare them to.

I had Specialized 2Bliss on my Epic previously, which seemed okay, although I ran them with tubes. My current setup seems a little grippier.

racing ralphs front and rear here. Run evo with tubes. Dont trust tubeless anymore. They do puncture easily unfortunately but by eck are they fast and quite grippy

Rocket Rons for me, lighter and grippier than a Ralph. Wear out quickly though, and aren't cheap.

Note how you've yet to get 2 answers the same...

A mixture of Rons/Raplhs/Freds and Nics dependent on conditions.

Schwalbe. there's no other choice really.

I run Nobby Nics in all conditions usually but was too tight to buy new ones this time around and have some god awful michelins.

Next purchase will be a pair of Rocket Rons. Tubeless, obviously.

ron on the front ralph on the back - i ride on loose gravelly flinty ground near my house and the gravel tends to cut rather than pierce. to be fair they've been pretty good and i've only had one hole that needed to be patched 'cause of the size of the hole. i guess i should be running the tubeless tyres with the extra protection but the non tubeles ones i've got have been ok and were dirt cheap from fleabay.. they're good enough for dry and dusty and wet and slippery but are a bit draggey when it gets really sticky

Found schwalbes sidewalls to be fragile - likewise maxxis.

Currently rocking fast traks again after a 3 year break trying other.

Small block 8s aint too bad either

I am a 12 stone ex downhiller though ...mincing not allowed !

Hutchinson Piranhas - Super fast, robust, race winning tyres. Not cheap, but relatively hard wearing.

how about some maxxis monorails, fast, light and work tubeless and some schwalbe and bonty in the mix for other conditions
