Have a pair of mw701s and love them - don't get numb/buzzy feet, so comfy. I have v high arches and duck feet so I suspect the fact they have arch support and wide toeboxes helps.
And I like the BOA/velcro closure.
What's the closest summer shoe?ย
Yes I have been looking at reviews but arch support either way doesn't seem to be mentioned.
Prepared to pay for comfort. The mw701 were got 2 1/2 years ago and still going strong.
My mind has been concentrated by starting a long cycle touring trip and realising how much comfier the winter boots are even though I get a bit sweaty in them!
Giro do insoles with adjustable arch support. Hard to say what would be closest to Shimano, other than more Shimanos. Can confirm Northwave are fairly flat, which is why I got the Giro insoles. Specialized have good arch support but then you're also getting into their body geometry knee alignment situation, which may or may not work for you, and I personally wouldn't mix with other brands.
