Went to the Vendee (half way down Atlantic coast) last year and although resort was nice - cycle paths from the site and a good beach nearby Weather was cool most days 20C - too cold for the kids to swim, and too cold to sit outside in the evenings
So thinking of heading further South this year - anyone been to the South of France with children and found a quiet resort? Looking for a quiet site with static caravans rather than apartments, near to sandy beaches with some traditional French towns
Looking for the impossible on the South coast of France or has anyone fond a hidden gem?
cheers

Feel free to point out any links to forums review sites which may help - haven't found anything decent through google
Coullioure is lovely. Went camping there so cant comment on the caravanning aspect.

Found this site to be excellent with very informative people. We are looking at something similar for next year too - good luck ๐
EDIT - Around 10hrs to the med coast apparently?
