Have posted a Wanted Ad as I need to buy the wife a road bike for Christmas.
Doesn't have to be a female-specific bike but short of a good second hand deal, what deals are there on something for sportives and longish club runs?

Check out the bargain bin on the on-one website, usually there are some good buys.

the 2012 Giant Defy 2 just got top marks in this months Cycling Plus. It is £799 and they reckon it rides at least twice that good. That's where my cash would go
