We send several parcels a week at work, max weight ever is 2kg, we use Royal Mail overseas signed for and dont have any problem with things not arriving.
Could be quite expensive sending a frame though.
FedEx have been great when Jenson USA have used them to send me stuff.
You may find some of the big recognised carriers want you to set up an account and will only allow it if you send 1000s a year, do parcel to go not offer an overseas option?
