going to head to Wales at the weekend early Saturday morning, Llandegla en route then camp at CYB and then ride Sunday and home, anyone know of any good campsites ?

Used to be one by the centre on the same road. Cant remember the name sorry but if you google it you will find it. It's easy riding distance and was fine last time I was there. Come out of the centre and turn right and its just up the road on the left.

Caegwyn is nice, and has the added bonus of having an offroad route straight to the trail centre

That Caegwyn must have seriously improved. We had the misfortune to stay there for a couple of nights in 2008, the owner was a bit of a nutter and the whole setup was like nothing had been thought out - ie no sink in the shower block etc.

If you want to be near the amenities of Dolgellau then you could try the tanyfron touring park, the camping area is only small but it's only walking distance for food/drink.
