In a fantastically great world i'd pop to my local bike shop, but as the last time i took it there he didn't do the best of jobs i'm reluctant to return (in fairness I think he was up against it, the queue in the shop was massive when i went back for it and he looked right flustered, i bought a set of grips too as I felt sorry for him)
So where should I get a replacement rear wheel. I'm carrying some extra poundage and could use something fairly strong. The last time I bought wheels I think I got Mavic 521 rims (it was over ten years ago) on XT hubs.
My rim knowledge is a bit past it so some recommendations would help in that field too.
