My Giant Anthem frame. Battered to bits but still going strong!

Aaaah, I got to say "mine" - STW to the max.

My old Blur XC. Can't quite bring myself to part with it though.

Are you looking for new? Can't imagine there are many about.

In true STW fashion, mine a wee Scott Spark but far improved now I've got rid of the twin loc and ditched the dt swiss rear shock.. although it's less XC because of it. I've heard good things about the Giant Anthem too.

26er alu Anthems are really light, bombproof frames.

Specialized Epic would be another good choice.

Both popular bikes so shouldn't be hard picking something up on the cheap.

As you said best I would have to save the suspension on a Turner Flux is better than the Anthems...

I've never owned one, but the Maestro system is brilliant (had a Trance) so Anthem for me ๐Ÿ™‚

Probably an anthem, had an x1 for 3 years - if you ride it hard budget for a shock rebuild and bushings every season. Yes most bikes say you should service every season, but this was the first that actually needed it. Could have been a dodgy shock, but I think it was probably due to getting carried away and treating it like my nomad on the descents....only got rid because I had a carbon 29er HT itch to scratch.

I'd get an anthem, they are fantastic. But a 29er one probably!
