Looking to save as much weight as possible from my road bike for as little cash as possible.
One area I skimped on when building it up was the seatpost so I reckon that's a good place to start.
So, anyone know of any blinding deals on 31.6mm carbon seatposts?
Not cheap, but a good seatpost at a good price.

+1 for Ritchey WCS Carbon. Merlin for sure but i have found Ribble to very cheap these days (if they do Ritchey), CRC, wiggle and Parker-International, pro bike kit,Primera-bournmouth also good starting points...
Hmmmm.... on the one hand I was thinking along the lines of a £100 for £50 (if I could find the deal)
But on the other hand I do like the look of this one: http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/mountain-bike-seatposts/ritchey-superlogic-carbon-seatpost.html
USE Alien Carbon. Suprised myself when I weighed mine as they aren't uber expensive.
A 27.2 350mm weighed 172g
I've actually got a USE Sumo carbon in my spares box. One option would be to shim it but it looks a bit scruffy (and that matters on my road bike)
The same size Sumo weighed over 60g more and was sent back to be exchanged for the Alien for that very reason.
Thinking about for just one second... I suppose I might have expected the 'Sumo' to weigh a bit more!
The Alien is out of stock at CRC (and not on Wiggle at all)
I like the look of this one (particularly as my bike is white with bits of red and black): http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/3T_Doric_Team_Seat_Post_2009_OE/5360045754/#more
