sent frames through royal mail before
or just ask seller to drop it at a local bikeshop and arrange boxing and couriering through them?

Got the bike shop from back home to courier on of my bikes to Uni as didn't have space for it in the car, was cheaper than driving back for it

I've used parcel2go.com a few times, cheap and good.

I've used City Link to collect/deliver bikes, frames and surfboards. Never had a problem.

parcel 2go are good as are senditnow.com but both use parcel force for the items. Sometimes its just easier to use parcel forcedirect.
I've used the £10.99 48hr service to send both bikes and frames before.
The boxed bikes i've sent have always been larger than parcel force guidelines but the drivers pick them up anyway as they are quite light.

It's always cost me less than a tenner ... try and fit it in a smaller box.
