I know these are only small items but was wondering if any are better than others?
I’m putting together my kit for some longer solo rides and these are missing items!
I see that muc off do an inflator with cartridges and sleeve and tubeless repair kit. But also top peak amongst others.
Are they all much of a muchness or worth spending on the better ones?
I have a Dynaplug Racer. A Specialized Trigger inflator head and a couple of Planet X 25g CO2 cartridges.
I prefer an inflator which screws onto the presta valve and have a control know so you can control the flow. I've tried with press on valves and one shot inflators, but their success rate has been very hit and miss.
Giant do a good inflator, tho may now be out of stock, and truflo also have one similar
I’m a fan of the Genuine Innovations AirChuck. It’s tiny bit works well (I just bought another one because I can’t find it).
You screw it onto the cartridge and then the action of pressing it onto the valve releases the gas so it’s quite controllable and I’ve found it very reliable (just easy to lose).
