this has probably been done to death but where can you find info on current best hardtail XC bikes per price bracket? say £500,£750,£1000 etc.
uses are for all day rides on bridleways to blasting around trail centres

According to a test in one of the mags- WMB?- the best at £500 is the Carrera Fury, and the best at £750 is also the Carrera Fury. Ridiculously good little bike.
