After as best a spec as I can get for £250 for my daughter, anyone seen anything that might be worth a look? Cheers

Good point, adults bike small or 16" should be about right...

spec myka at leisure lakes sale the other day foe £250 - I saw a medium frame but they probably have others

Secondhand, that will buy a really good bike.

Unless it's for a present - daughters are picky 🙂

Aye are they! It will have to be shiney and obviously having the right colour is more important than if it has a shock that actually works and weighs less than 6lb!!

My mates got a specialized hard rock, the bottom of the range one. The frame seems decent and i've seen a few college kids on them so I think they are quite desirable. If she's anything like my sister just give her the cash to pick get own, the slightest thing like tyre pattern, frame colour, or name can make the difference between getting it right.

2nd hand and let her choose the RAL colour to get the frame powdercoated
