I took my 4Forty off after a ride last night and the MIPS part almost stayed on my head while the shell lifted off. I loosened the ratchet and lifted the whole thing off and realised the MIPS is only attached (at the front at least) by velcro. If this happens in a crash I'd imagine it could be dodgy. It seems dodgy. Is this normal?

The helmet is attached to the head by its straps; the inner MIPS liner is supposed to slide. If anything, it releasing from the velcro will provide additional slide, like a MIPS+.
