I wasn't paying enough attention replacing bearings on a rocker arm and the bearing went in wonky causing the bearing housing to deform. There's now a groove and matching lip where the bearing took a bite out of the rocker.
Any other suggestions other than file the lip off and be more careful next time?
Cheers

File the lip and use bearing retainer if concerned about the groove. Alternatively, plug the area and bore it back out - admittedly this job is a bit more significant
