Its lasted 18months.
What are people using now?
Shall I just put a Deore in and accept it may die quicker?

The replacement is the MT800. Should cost you £15-20 if you shop around.
I got a couple off CRC earlier last week and they were both full retail package with the fitting tool adapter included.

(based on a sample size of one) my new model xt BB is better sealed than the old ones- I used to pretty consistently get through two of those a year, the new one must be just coming up on the year mark and is still nice and smooth.
