By standard I mean one that currently has HT2 cranks in it.

There's a BB made by Rotor that will fit - any others? It's £40...

Technically you can’t find BB30 to bb86 as the axle is too short, but I guess you mean 30mm axle cranks in which case Yes, Hope do one also it’s costs more however.

I wouldn’t really advise unless desperate as the bearings wear really quickly.

I have been given a set of nice FSA cranks in BB30, that's all, and my current ones are shabby and cheap. It's either this or eBay them.

EDIT it's actually BB386...

Wait - seems that BB386 EVO has been specifically designed to be compatible with old style threaded frames as well - so there's this:

I have SL-k modulars in a bunch of pf92 frames, my threaded Solaris, my kids Ripcord (shortened to 140mm).
So yep, there's a fit solution for almost everything

Yeah bb386 is a 30mm axle but the length for a standard shell width.
