Hi All,
Thinking of taking the kids over to Bath to try out the traffic-free cycle routes in the area. Where's the best place to start from/park etc? Probably looking at around 20 miles or so, loop rather than out & back. All recommendations welcome.
Many thanks in advance...

The best loop for the family would be one on the Sustrains 'Two tunnels' loop including a mile long tunnel (take lights - the LED's were out on Monday meaning it was chuffing dark!), coming back into town along the canal path. There's a couple of nice pubs along the canal as well that you can refuel the kids and it's all pretty flat with little / no traffic.
Best place to park would either be in the George pub car park (they let you, it's all fine) but then it's not mid route, or on Bear flat / Bloomfield road in Bath so that you can link into the cycle track through Bloomfield park (check out a map, it'll make sense).

And if it's sunny on Sunday afternoon, you may well see me coming back through the tunnels into bath after a little loop across the hills to the East of Bath...

Excellent - two tunnels route sounds ideal.
