hello want to go to a 2x9 set up from a deore chainset 26/36/48 so dropping the 48 leaves me with a 36t
so can/ I should get a chainreaction 19.99 Straitline Bash Ring - Serrated 2013 available in a 36 t or 38 to 40 in 36t?

Yeah that bash ring is about the same thickness as your outer ring so you should be fine with the same bolts.
