[Closed] base layer follow up

The recent post about base layers with notice of cheap Patagonia on Snow and Rock lead me to get the wallet out as I have used the capilene tops for a while and really like them. I chose a zip Cap 2 top at £15.97 which seemed really cheap but the postage was £3.95. Not a great amount perhaps but 25% of the cost of the top which no longer makes it a bargain just reasonable. Have we become blase about postage because nearly all the cycling internet players do free postage or is this excessive. A synthetic base layer hardly weighs anything for god's sake!
