Apologies for another question.
How do the cables route on bar end shifters? Under the bar-tape?
Still seriously looking for a right hand Shimano compatible bar end shifter in either 9 or 10 speed version - if anyone has one 😉

There's literally always loads on eBay...
Mine go under the bar tape and exit before the bend to the drops

My Fargo arrived with the cables exiting the tape at the first bend. When I replaced the tape/cables/outers I routed it all under the tape and it was fine. Much neater looking and easier to fit a bar bag on.
