Think I just learnt something today, do carbon mountain bike bars take smaller diameter plugs (the bit that inserts into the bars)?
Bought what I thought was a standard size, to find out they dont fit a set of Syncros carbon bars.

The plugs that came with my Lizard Skin grips are just one-size-fits-all. That's on FSA and Easton carbon bars.

Done now, big nail clippers and a file, nice and tidy. My Syncros bars seem to have a non-removable insert at both ends, making the diameter narrower. Guess it's some internal reinforcement at the point where you might cut them down?
