Going to "try" fit a couple of local rides in whilst clearing out some junk from the parentals, nieces birthday, tidying up our gaff, and our lads birthday.

Beer will definitely by squeezed in somewhere!

Tomorrows planned ride has been abandoned after my massively spectacular high-speed fight with a drainage bar t'other night. The drainage bar won. My knee didn't. Or my shoulders, for that matter

Bloody hell, it hurts!!! I feel like I've been hit by a bus. poor me ๐Ÿ™

Long Mynd tomorrow to test ride a Banshee Rune and a Transition Covert.

Sunday will be a session in the local woods on the jumps and short DH runs - the BFe needs a run out.

Monday will be a road ride if the weather is not too poo, failing that it'll be DIY and washing the road bike after it got covered in mud the other week (got caught in a shower on muddy, country roads).

You'll have time to do both in the same day. MBR isn't that long. Or just do the Beast which covers most of the best bits of both.

Decisions decisions. I feel a little exploratory adventurette should take place but the question is where? So much choice. ๐Ÿ™‚

It may or may not involve cheekiness cos I just don't care these days. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sat - ride to Scotland and back CX. Ideally Newcastle,Newcastleton,Newcastle because it has a nice ring to it.

Sun - recovery and cake run - pick up repaired mountain bike

Mon - see how legs feel but either a trip to Hamsterley or a nice road ride.

crap weather but tomorrow is looking great. just going to take it easy as 110 Yorkshire miles with no training is going to be hard.

No bank holiday for me, but doing the king & queen enduro- should be grand. Unless I crash and die. Which I probably will. Forecast is good, by which I mean it's probably not going to snow again.

150km Audax with 2250m of climbing on Sunday.

I'm not built for hills. It could hurt...

But at least the weather is looking good!

All day drinking starting at 6am, as is tradition for this particular bank holiday in our town ๐Ÿ™‚

Will probably get some road riding in over the weekend.
