I was in Cycle Surgery this morning and saw these
and wondered anyone has any expereince of them at all? Are they any good or are they just a gimmicky design thing where a normal balance bike would be fine?

man that looks like it could be great fun, or incredibly dangerous, as they wizz round the house sideways. Great for indoor use I'm sure but not suitable for outside like a "like-a-bike" is though

No but we have a wheelie mouse thing which is on castors and the handle is too low, meaning she goes sideways and then goes otb when she crashes, not one of her favorite toys it has to said, prfers her proper balance bike strangly...
