Any suggestions for good balance bike routes in the Dark Peak area? Preferably a short loop with something not too steep and a bit more interesting than just fireroads/old railway paths. Done bit round Longshaw and Rivelin but there must be other stuff i'm missing. Maybe one of the reservoirs to the north west of Sheffield?
Like this but a bit closer to home would be ideal

Look at the sett valley trail, middle wood way, biddulph way, even over leek way the manifold trail. Then there's derwent resser should all be pretty friendly.
Always near a pub too
