How can something be so incredibly impressive and so tedious at the same time

Those skills are astounding but I have zero motivation to try any of it

@legometeorology

I felt really bad for thinking, wow that's amazing but I'm bored now of her going round and round and round. Glad it wasnt just me.

I did wonder what pedals she had? Seemed to have brilliant grip, maybe it was the shoes?

Not even wearing a helmet. Tut. Irresponsible 😂

Presentation I suppose. Would be interesting to put her in a decayed urban environment, with baggy clothing and a decent soundtrack, doing some Danny Mac style moves within her skillset; I reckon she’d be an internet sensation. Her skills are incredible; the format is awful.

Fairly similar with flatland BMX. Very skilled and impressive but after watching a few people do very similar stuff for 10 minutes is quickly loses it's appeal.

Every time I get on my bike now, I'm gonna do those little curtsies she does at the start.

Years ago saw Chinese State circus. Acrobat was doing vertical loops on a bike in a large metal cage. Handlebar of said bike was horizontal bar stretching across the cage. The cage was at the end of a 20' long pole, which in turn was balanced on another guy's forehead. And the guy balancing the pole on his forehead was riding a bike around the arena. Impressive stuff, but I was hoping it would fall and unsurprisingly it never did

Astonishing - but is it a sport or a circus act? And what girl (or boy) growing up thinks 'That's the sport for me!'

Lastly - when learning those tricks when you fall off, now many times do you fall on your arse right on top of a bike frame. Which must hurt.
