So the clutch on my AXS is poor , causing the mech to make one hell of a noise , is the cable actuated mech any better.

Yes but maybe because it has a cable jammed in the top which stops it from swinging around the bolt. Something that they maybe didn't forsee when removing the cable from the original style of cage/clutch.

I have GX Eagle on a Druid and it's the most silent bike I've ever ridden.

The clutches are the same, as above it’s the mech rotating. Not something that’s affected mine though.

Reasons as above. You can alleviate it by pushing the main bolt out and fitting an o-ring between it and the mech body.

Is yours original or T type?

Loads of people complain about the first one being too floppy.

Gx axs chain slap noisy as hell

gx transmission chain slap noisy as hell (not quite as noisy as above)

Gx mechanical quiet as a mouse assuming the rest of your drivetrain is setup correctly (right chain tension etc)

So much rattle in the rear of my Smuggler, sounds like a skeleton ? taking a Tommy tank in a tin , at first I thought it may have been something to do with the shock or linkage , thanks for your replies, I may go mechanical ⚙️, I’m not sold on wireless

As above, you can use an O-ring to help stop some movement, I also read the some people will swap the spring with one from an 11 or 10 speed SRAM mech as its stronger.

After reading one post somewhere, I popped a bolt into the hole on the underside above the limit screws.
