Have bought a bike with Avid Juicy 5s. Thing is the levers are too far from the bars for me and adjusting the grub screw doesnt seem to bring them in close enough for me. Can I change the levers to something with better lever reach? Will it be cheaper to buy new complete sets of what I want. I run Formula The Ones on my Lapierre but they are $$$$$. I dont have much experience of Avids - are all levers mega far away from the bars???
What do you recommmend???
Are you turning the correct grub screw?
It took mine about 10 complete turns before it started adjusting/to bite.
yep agree.i can adjust mine right in.

Mail me and I will tell you exactly what to do cant beleive they would both be stripped
Also come across a few that the hex has split open on, causing the allen key to spin, worth checking yours isn't gone.
