Anyone got one of these? I'm after one so I can get stuff out of my garage to give me more room to work on bikes and stuff. How many bikes can you realistically fit in? I'm hoping for a 29er commuter, two 26ers, a 20", a 16" and hopefully a lawnmower? Am I dreaming?
I've got the Metal Bike Shed for 29ers and can keep 3x 26" and a bmx in it before having to take wheels off to get any more in. even then the BMX is upside down to fit it in.
How small is the lawn mower?? 😉
That amount should fit fine - the lawnmower might require a bit of a shuffle to get it out. I've had 5 adult bikes in from time to time but you have to play it smart with turning handlebars and some disassembly to get that much to play nicely.
I have one and have to juggle two 29ers and a road bike to fit in - one has the handle bars turned parallel to the wheels.
Ta. Two at the back don't get used much so can have bars turned etc. Others want to be accessible as they are family bikes.
My nice bikes will stay in the less secure garage which I guess is flawed logic but I like tinkering with them of an evening
