Fox stuff, 15wt oil, gearbox oil or whatever is going in the lowers

Assuming you have put the right sort of oil in, I'd use this on the seals/foam:

Nothing on earth reduces friction like it.
I have 30% of a tin left. It seems to be out of production.....

I think Torco Assembly Lube is the same stuff, and pretty easy to find.
