[#10353541]

but a lot cheaper and takes 18650 batteries.

I love my Diablo but a bit disappointed with it's run time.

As I have lots of 18650 batteries I'm just wondering if I can put them to good use.

Solder some of your 1860s together and make a battery pack for the Diablo?

If you make two I’ll buy one! 😉

Is there a ready made thing I could just pop a battery into a connect to the light?

I just need to carry one battery as a back up. Not really keen on spending £50 for an exposure back up.

A quick search came up with this.

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=18650+battery+case&client=safari&hl=en-gb&prmd=sinv&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi3xerInfDeAhUEKewKHWNBAYMQ_AUIEygC&biw=768&bih=883#imgrc=4f77V5j41U1WHM

Can use the exposure usb cable.

Good thinking people.

Could you not adapt the Diablo usb charger cable to connect to you batteries, so your 18650 batteries charge the Diablo while on the move. I’m sure the light still works while being chrarger I’m plugged in on mine.

Out of interest what do you regard as disappointed with run time. I have one and manage to get a 3hr night ride out of it on low or mid while climbing and then full power on descending? As yet I’ve not run it out.

Mine barely lasts an hour on full. Not enough for technical riding on lower settings.
