After 9 hours in the saddle yesterday, my cheeks are a bit sore.

What are your shorts or bibshorts of choice for rides of 6 hours plus.

None of my shorts have given me problems for rides of that length. It's mostly down to positioning and hardening your arse up in the first place I reckon.

If it helps though my shorts range from 'Pissei By Andrea Tafi Roubaix Bib Shorts' from Planet X, a pair of Addidas bib shorts and a couple of sets of Endura ones that make up the club kit.

Altura bibs and chamois cream for me for long rides.

400+ hrs in the saddle including a 24 solo.

I'd not thought about the positioning though. It was on a different bike to my usual.

Assos Mille

Expensive but the only short i can go 5 hours + with and still feel comfortable by the end of the ride.

Their T_Pro S2 are a fair bit cheaper and pretty good too
