Help,
Just replacing rings on shimano xt crankset, only to realise it requires Torx key. Can somebody advise size required?
I suspect it is a 3.0 / 30?

Thanks , in advance.

I would just get a pocket multi-tool, or a bit set. Bound to need another at some point! No one buys single hex keys, right?

T-30...Thanks Chaps!
I think, for removing chain ring bolts, I'll get a nice quality single hex key.

Sniff.

as trailrat the multicoloured wera torx // allen keys are superb, costly but can feel the quality.

Don't get tamperproof ones...they snap more easily. I found that out by being lazy and using one that was drilled for the security pin ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a (couple of sets) of loose keys in varying quality and some nice socketed ones in specific (useful to me) sizes for use with tommy bars / torque wrenches etc
