hi tech guys, just trying to complete a build, set up is 32 ring front, 11-36 rear sram x9 short cage type 2, x7 ten speed shiter.
ive built many bikes but never had an issue like this.
the shifter isnt clicking to go up the cassette but is moving up 3 rings at a time.
the familiar sram click isnt there on the shifter (is fine moving back down to the smaller sprockets)
is there a way to adjust the actuation of the shifter on the back behind the lever
really scracthing my head with this.
There is little notched tooth wheel inside that often cracks as it is under a fair bit of load when shifting, there used to be a guide to stripdown of the X7 online but when i checked my techy bookmarks folder their site is down for maintenance, do a google and i'm sure a guide will turn up on another site.
